In a similar fashion as LSU did against LTU. Ugly, but a win is a win. In the grand scheme of college football, ULM has 6 wins, LTU only 3.

ULM is 0-4 vs teams ranked in the top 100, and 6-0 vs teams outside the top 100.
Tech is 0-6 vs teams ranked in the top 100, and 3-1 vs teams ranked outside the top 100.
But Tech has played 2 Top 10 teams really tough in the last 2 weeks.... with a ton of Freshmen playing.

Because Tech goes into the game with a bunch of freshmen, 8 starters out, and takes it to lsu and come up short by 8. They had a small chance to tie it up at the end, and only when the onside kick was recovered, did the lsu faithful sigh a big sigh of relief. Tech, with mostly the same starters out against Boise, digs and claws there way to within 2 points, and loses by 10.

I watched the game. My wife and I ate a leisurely dinner. LSU played like shite and seemed uninspired. I read a magazine with one eye on the game. There was absolutely no concern, only annoyance that LSU was going through the motions and watching the Tech sideline having the delusion of a possible upset. At no time did we think Tech had a chance. More likely the space station would crash into my house. And, yes, it was Tech.
