Who are these QBs?

Because ive seen him throw before. Sputtered slants, way off target deep balls, a lot of pissed off WRs, not to mention the throws that are more difficult like the comebacks and the out routes. Theres a reason he wont play QB in the NFL before and its not because of the attention he brings.

I cant think of one throw he does WELL from the pocket.

I'm just glad you are here to type out everything that I want to say so I don't have to. Tebow sucks as an nfl qb no matter how much his supporters want to cling to him "leading" the Broncos to the playoffs

Backups? There's certainly quite a few. The first one who comes to mind is Terrelle Pryor.

Good. frick Tebow. I remember that damn LSU-Florida game in 2009.

Like another poster said here earlier, I hope the next time we hear about the guy, it involves him being arrested in a hotel room with a underage male prostitute and crystal meth.

It's really not.

I wasn't trying to say Tebow is better than a bunch of starters. I do believe he would find his way on a roster if there wouldn't immediately be a circus around him.

are you comparing Tebow to a hof qb? he was 7-5 in 2011

The comment was made and remains that he rode the denfense through the season, and even in the playoffs. My response was how many HOF QB's have done the same thing. How is that a head to head comparison of Tebow vs HOF qb's?

okay? then counter the evidence I'm using to support my opinion instead of arguing just to go against what's trending

He only had half a season as a starter vs alot of QB's who had triple the amount of time to prove that they sucked. Jump on my all you want, but all I am saying is you call sum up his skills, and his potential career in the NFL based on a half of a season, and a circus in New York. All I am saying is that there are qb's out there that are just as bad, if not worse, who had alot more time to prove that they sucked. If that were the case with Tebow, I would agree...hey the guy sucks, but until then I say he deserves to be on a team as a backup, and learn and possibly get better.

I cant think of one throw he does WELL from the pocket.

again, you are basing this off of a half season of NFL play. This is not a discussion about his college production.

Zero. What exactly is your point?

That is my point. Don't strip him of any credit he deserves because Denver's defense was good for a stretch.

Most guys dont make it through training camp as a rookie before NFL teams know whether they can be an NFL QB

Half a season is plenty of time, especially when the offense is completely dumbed down for you like it was for Tebow

This, but people want to pile on and say that this guy sucks and deserves no chance. But want J-Tuss to get another chance after he completely shite all over the QB position as a Raider. But J-Tuss is from LSU, so people love him.

That makes no sense at all. Youre making an argument against Tebow if anything

Those HOF QBs would have crushed all those teams with a defense playing that well. Tebow was lucky to have a TD after 3 and a half Quarters.

Drafting Russell with the first pick was idiotic, no doubt.

I never mentioned his college production.

Dude in denver was in the shotgun with little audible responsibility passing against 8-9 man fronts and could barely complete a curl.

You cant fix that. Thats High School shite.

It is.

Please name me one HOF QB that had to bank on a defense to shut the other team down because they couldnt score more than once before the middle of the 4th

NAME ONE. I will wait.

There is a constant theme here that Terry Bradshaw is a product of the steel curtain. I am not trying to compare the bow to hof qb's. but I just wish that would just accept that quarterbacks often cannot overcome a shitty defense, and often succeed with good to great defenses. Ad this is the final comment. You cannot base Tebows future off of one half season with Denver as first time starter.
