That would be some funny shite if they both got a chance to compete on the same team.

In College yes. But Russell has a terrible work ethic and is way out of shape and SUCKED as an NFL qb.. I would take Tebow in a heartbeat just because he gives a shite........... And at least took his team to the playoffs. Yes the Raiders weren't real good But Russell did NOTHING for them...

Russell can change his work ethic -- he may currently be in the process of doing that. Tebow can't change the fact that his burly arm throws wounded ducks past 20 yards.

As a pro:

Tebow: 75.3 RAT 17 TD _9 INT 2,422 YDS on 361 ATT
Grape: 65.2 RAT 18 TD 23 INT 4,083 YDS on 680 ATT

Tebow has thrown almost as many touchdowns on nearly half the attempts. Tebow passing TD/ INT ratio: 1.9... Purple Drank's 0.8.

Tebow also rushed for 989 YDS with 12 TDS.

College:

Tebow: 170.8 RAT 88 TD 16 INT 9,285 YDS on 995 ATT
Grape: 147.9 RAT 52 TD 21 INT 6,625 YDS on 797 ATT

Tebow rushed for 2,947 with 57 TDS. Grape Daddy rushed for 79 YDS with 4TDS. Tebow passing TD/ INT ratio: 5.5... Purple Drank's 2.5

Tebow - 1 playoff win; 1 AFC title
Grape - 0 playoff appearances; 1 title for biggest bust

Tebow - on a team last year
Grape - last seen in the NFL circa 2009 weighing in at +300lbs

Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

I would rather Tebow every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

One played for the Broncos, a talented team that has made the playoffs the last two years, and the other played for the Raiders, the worst organization in pro sports.

Urban Meyer or Les Miles as a coach of QBs? Even still, Russell's 2006 season was the best in college football.

Let's do a blind taste test:

Person A: Better than B in every statistical category. Great work ethic. On a team last year.

Person B: Worse than A in every statistical category. Horrible work ethic. Hasn't played in 3 years.

The results are in. And 9 out of 10 sane Americans preferred Person A!* Wow, that is truly incredible.

*+/- 1 person margin of error

Statistically speaking, Tim had two years (2007 & 2008) that were better than Russell's '06 year.

What kind of offense did Tebow play in? Johnny Football and Timmy Chang will/should be setting the NFL on fire.

yet his completion percentage is 47.9 in 35 games played.

Russell's is 52.1% and he's played in fewer games.

Any other meaningless stat you want to throw out there as it pertains to which QB will make a team this year?

I think they both won the same amount of games as a starter, although Jamarcus lost a lot more games a starter.

Tebow had a lot more help than Russel did. Denver has some pretty good talent on it and was a good team with a good QB.

The Raiders have been shite for a while.

Tebow, may never play again but he will make a squad. Russell can throw yeah but he doesn't have it between the ears and hasn't played in 3 or 4 years. He reminds me of Ryan Leaf, big arm but rock dumb.

Unless Tebow switches to TE, which he refuses to do, he'll never play again in the NFL. Someone will take a shot in Russell at QB before Tebow, just on pure passing ability

Sure.

Tebow: AVG 6.71
Grape: AVG 6.00

Tim rushed for 989 yards and only fumbled 7 times. Purple Drank rushed for 175 yards, yet he fumbled 22 times.

22 Times.

Let's do a turnover roundup.

Tebow: _9 INT _7 fumbles in 35 games
Grape: 23 INT 22 Fumbles in 31 games

16 turnovers in 35 games
vs.
55 turnovers in 31 games

You are awesome at posting stupid nicknames, gifs and insignificant stats. The gifs even serve to distract from the insignificant stats.

This debate is getting pretty chippy considering it's highly doubtful either side is going to have an "I told you so" opportunity.

One year because of Tebow... Look it up..... Russell was GARBAGE as a pro QB even on a less than good team........ If you can't see this you are on his package.....

And NO he CAN'T change his work ethic. Even if he does. Its TOO late......... He brings NOTHING to ANY GM because of what he has done in his SHORT stint in the league......... These are PURE FACTS.............
