This Oklahoma State bullshite has got to stop. Anybody who has them ranked over BYU for example (cough easter cough) should be shot.
I have them ranked over BYU.

THEY BEAT THE SHITTIEST BCS TEAM. BY YOUR CRITERIA NORTHWESTERN SHOULD BE #1.
Bitch, don't yell at me.

I know I'm going to get shite for it, but you can say the same for USC. I don't think they are the clear cut #1 team. Hence, Oklahoma being #1 in my poll.
everyone was nutting themselves over USC beating Virgina, and what did I say? Virginia sucked balls. ....and they proved that by getting blown the frick off the field vs. UConn.
Ohio St. is a completely different team without Beanie. No one can deny that. USC hasn't played slobberknockers either. Not IMO

Guys, I've just seen the light - vote NORTHWESTERN into the top 20.
They've beat TWO BCS schools - twice as many as Oklahoma St!
Their defense is tough as nails giving up 12.3 points per game and the vaunted offense is thrashing people for nearly 30 points per game. These juggernauts are rolling!

Okie State is averaging over 50. Just saying.
Posted on 9/16/08 at 9:58 am to reddman
And their defense is giving up over 17ppg!
Okie St's opponents record is a combined 1-7 - very impressive!
Northwestern's is an astounding 3-5 - a little more impressive!
Seriously, if you think Okie St is in the top 25 then there is no reason to not put Northwestern in there too.

BYU beat the absolute urine out of a decent BCS team. You can sugarcoat an upset; you can't argue with 66-0.
As long as BYU and ECU keep winning I will have them high. They play enough good teams to deserve it, unlike Hawaii last year

Not only do I have Okie State ranked, I have them at #17. Chew on that.

Thank you for voting, Baloo. Here is how you voted:
1. Southern Cal – I’m sorry, they look awesome
2. Oklahoma – The only other real contender for #1
3. Missouri – That offense is ridiculous right now
4. LSU – Kind of the great unknown at this point
5. Florida – I don’t think anyone in the SEC can expose the weakness in their secondary
6. Georgia – A win on the road in the SEC. Don’t knock it.
7. Wisconsin – Never ever underestimate the Badgers.
8. Texas – Another team I have no read on yet.
9. Penn State – They’ve been killing bad teams.
10. Alabama – Tulane is looking more like a hiccup
11. BYU – Sure, UCLA stinks, but that was still impressive
12. Auburn – 3-2?!
13. Ohio State – If they play Pryor, they’re a top ten team
14. South Florida – Big win over a good Kansas team
15. East Carolina – BCS chances hurt by the Mountain West’s big week
16. Wake Forest – The class of the ACC.
17. Texas Tech – OK, now beat a team with a pulse
18. Utah – Michigan win has completely lost its luster
19. Kansas – A good loss to a good team
20. Oregon – Who’s gonna be the QB?
21. Oklahoma State – Very quietly having a nice start
22. Iowa – Been burned by the Hawkeyes before
23. Vanderbilt – USC win looks a lot better
24. Illinois – No shame in losing to Mizzou
25. Fresno State – If they only had a kicker…

I'm not arguing with you having them ranked that high. I'm just not happy about it. They probably deserve that ranking, but they won't get it from me. frick them.

BYU will lose to either Utah or TCU on the road. Maybe both, so I expect them to frick themselves.

Probably which is why I am not worried about. Ditto for ECU.
For the record, the MWC looks better than 2-3 BCS conferences this year. They are a whopping 5-0 against the Pac10 and 15-5 overall OOC.

If they both win out, are they going to the BCSCG over a 1-loss PAC-10, SEC, or Big 12 champion?

We all know the answer to that is no. But that doesn't mean they won't get a BCS bid.

Deserve? Maybe, especially in the case of the Mountain West teams. But it simply will not happen. The BCS is designed to preserve the power of the Big 6 conferences, not to give the other schools a shot.
Posted on 9/16/08 at 11:58 am to Baloo
Sorry, I meant deserve the BCS bid, not the championship.

The thing that sucks for ECU is WVU and Va Tech could just end up tanking and in hindsight those wins wont look that impressive. Also, CUSA isn't looking that great, at least when compared side by side with the MWC.

No, but I think an undefeated ECU or BYU could go over a 1-loss ACC, Big East, or even Big 10 team. I am pretty sure their computer ranking will be better anyway.

Well, that's exactly why I mentioned those three conferences only.

BYU could possibly go over a 1-loss Oregon or something. The MWC is 5-0 versus the Pac10
