frick. that. shite. how many peeps left in the tourney at that point? i think i would have taken a 3 hour potty break brah.

it really wasnt that tough tbh...i chipped up at my first table and did pretty well on the "tv pro" table as well...the toughest table was the one with maria ho, and the 2 or 3 sub 30 internet kids...they are much tougher imho

which room did you like the best? had the easiest game?

the rooms at the beau are prob the best...none of them are that great though...i'd say the softest of the games was prob the 1-2 and 2-5 at winstar, followed closely by the same games at the beau...i prefer the beau games, mainly b/c there was a nitty 100bb buy in limit at winstar..i like buying in deep when the poker room allows, and the beau is the best for that..

-played 2-5 at harrahs tonight before i dropped a friend from oregon off at the airport..actually flopped a royal flush and got it all in...weeee..free royal flush jacket ftw...

418 players..

I started off the day with two loose nutty old guys to my left and tighter players to my right and my direct left...

I didn't win a hand for the first 45 minutes my typical run good.

This hand still makes me wonder what the hell he had and if anyone would like to take a shot feel free.. Loose old guy he bets small when he has it bets bigger when he has not much or nothing. Well this hand comes up he raises i look him up out of the blinds with A3 of hearts and a limper calls as well flop comes 567 2 hearts, im hoping he bets big so i can shove with him more than likely folding or if he calls then i have alot of outs. Well it checks around turn offsuit 10 i bet 1500 limper folds, he flats, in my mind i figure hes gotten stubborn with AK/AQ at this point and i can always still hit.. Well obviously i dont and the board pairs i bet 3300 and the bastard shoved, obviously i cant call because most of his bluffs are beating me. I guess he could have A10, but based on his play id almost expect him to reraise me on the turn.

Well anyway after that hand i was down to 4000.. then i get moved..

I arrive at this table and to my right is a guy with 60k an aggressive spew machine. Who gave all his chips away not too long after i arrived thanks to his sweet min 3-bet with Q3 offsuit..
Of couse i run card dead some more cant even get a decent enough hand to shove and try to steal fold all the way down to 1900.. a couple people limp into me in the small blind i look at k5 i go oh what the hell and limp as well.. flop comes K93 big blind bets 1000 folds back to me i shove he calls with 45 Yes no pair, no draw, 5 high. thanks? I later flip with 99 and beat AK and get back up to around 10k when they move me again

hey lets see what happens I run card dead yet a fricking again. fold down to 5600 .. when they fold to me on button i shove with 33 blinds 400/800 and the dipshit in the big blind calls me with 89 off suit.. wow.. i win that one .. up to 12k.. fold down to 11k dinner break

come back dinner break fold around one orbit down to 9800 shove in with A9 with blinds at 500/1000 from late position run into AK in big blind of course. FML i love running card dead for 7 hours

Been playing around with controlling SPR lately. It's been fun. I've been on a bit of a heater lately on merge. Not so much on Cake or Bodog. The tight play on merge is so easy to exploit. Why is it that I can abuse tight players, but loose players eat my lunch?

Probably because I have an aversion to showdowns and don't like to go to the river. Sometimes it's very hard to fire that third barrel or trust that a Q will hold up.

That's one of the reason I've been really focused on commitment thresholds and SPR. It makes tough decisions so much easier for the aggressive player.

Professional NLHE is the bible man. It really helps keep you out of difficult decisions.

Wouldn't it be easier to steal blinds and pots at a tight table?

Yes it does. I'm also upping my 3-bet from SB and BB percentage a bit. I was cold calling way too much. I'm just staying away from big pot poker at the moment.
