quote:SC's greatest bowl win is an Outback Bowl. TCU's was the 1939 Cotton Bowl, but this Rose Bowl is bigger than anything SC could ever achieve.
MO, TCU has done more and proven more in the last 2 years than USCe has in the last 10.....or 20 for that matter.
TCU also has more major conference titles than SC.

Three consecutive top ten finishes, something South Carolina will never achieve.
In fact, TCU has as many top ten finishes this decade as Carolina has top 25 finishes ever.
But until TCU can go 2 for 7 against Ole Miss, they'll never be elite.
When you are comparing them to us, it just shows that you have no case for them bruh and are proving my and Lester's point.
BTW, we are 7-8 against Ole Miss. TCU is 1-5. STACCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Raise your hand if anyone other than a gamecock fan puts USCe in that category.
Are you stupid or simple?
You really think they have the same level of talent we have? Really? REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY?

When TCU fills their regular season schedule with at least half of their opponents being from BCS conferences and runs the table in that same season, then get at me. Until then, it doesn't change the fact that it took them 3 seasons to gain 6 wins against BCS opponents when we did the same thing... IN ONE SEASON!
THEY ELITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
THEY ELITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

How many teams in the entire country can say they've finished in the top 25 eight times since 2000?
How many teams get to whip up on MWC teams while putting up one maybe two BCS teams on their schedule a year? Someone's gotta be 25th, might as well make it the kings of the ant hill.

Just fwiw, currently in the Pros:
TCU - 13 Players
South Carolina - 21 players
TCU - 13 Players
South Carolina - 21 players

quote:Playing in a non-BCS conference affects how many wins you can accumulate against BCS team. Using that logic, UConn and Pitt >>>>>> TCU. The same was said regarding FSU and then they joined the ACC and reeled off 9 straight conference championships. If they win the BE for the next 3 years, will your view change just because they play in a BCS conference?

Ole Miss has more SEC wins than OU, since the SEC is the best conference clearly OM > OU

Yup. If they are elite, they should have no problem doing it.

GamecockAlum flaming TCU like this is like a kid bullying another kid who's a year younger, even after the younger kid hits puberty and outgrows the older kid, who still has no hair on his balls.

You championing TCU's case is like watching retarded midgets trying to do hurdles. You really should just let them do it and enjoy laughing at it, but you feel pity and try to stop them from embarrassing themselves. Yet you keep right on running, knocking your Apple bottom sized head on every single hurdle.

There are a lot of analogy fails in this thread.

And where was this in any of my arguments?
Hey look they beat clemson by 4 at clemson. LOADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD. We beat them by 17 in the same season. We stacked?

GamecockAlum fricks up more threads than Codythetiger.

Yeah because I was the one who said they were elite. I was the one who said they shouldn't play play Wisconsin.
Hell you even proved one of my points for me. Thanks for the assist, you assmunch.

its just as relevant as saying USCe won more BCS games. Its pretty staggering you rate quality based on name alone and not actually looking at how teams do.

TCU >>> Boise St. because they are stepping up to a BCS conference.
I think Boise knows that it's gonna be very difficult for them to sustain where they are now for very long.
Being in Texas helps TCU tremendously. But good for them. It will certainly be interesting. I think they are definitely a top tear Big East team and can sustain that indefinitely.

And why do you keep repeating this like it's true? It's a fact that BCS teams are overall far superior than their Non-BCS counterparts.
Are you really implying that a win over San Jose State is similar to a win over Georgia? Nebraska? Michigan? Arizona? North Carolina? Come on bruh. You and I both know that TCU does not play that quantity of quality opponents that BCS teams do on a regular basis. You are giving them the benefit of the doubt because you THINK they could compete on a consistent basis in a BCS conference, but there is no proof to support it.
I mean honestly, when Utah (who got beat soundly by Notre Dame), Baylor (7-6 team) and Oregon State (5-7) are the 3 best wins on your regular season schedule, can you really say you proved yourself all year long? Sure TCU won a game in a one off setting against Wisconsin. Congrats for hanging on. Even with that, do you truly believe they proved themselves to be one of the 3 best teams in the nation? I mean be completely honest. From top to bottom, do you honestly believe that only 2 teams in college football were better than them?

Yup. If they are elite, they should have no problem doing it.
