It was a rivalry game in a rebuilding year after losing 22 starters where we lost by only one score in OT at home.
I know of a national championship contender who had a similar game.

Not excuses, just facts.
TCU is not the team they were last year.
TCU is still a good team that has been finding it's identity all season and has developed some defensively. The key losses for us were at the corners.

Where do you idiots come from? Have you heard worthless excuses like that from TCU in the past? Other than the fact that they have had few games that needed an explanation, the team, the fans, and especially GP openly admit when they failed to execute on the field.
This year's TCU team is good not great. I have said it over and over again. Is it possible tech is a better team on Wed night, yes. Do I think it is probable, no.

TCU IS NOT LSU! Stop the nonsense.....you forget that TcU was in Tech's position in the recent past. I hope that TCU players come into this game with your cocky, arrogant attitude.

That's funny. I'm pretty sure the cocky and arrogant scale is leaning towards the Tech fans in this thread.

Dang, I hate to see people from my own home state acting like such asses.
I appreciate team spirit, but when you beat your chest about being a a 8-4 team in the WAC with a 3 score loss to a 6-7 Hawaii team at home you may be over reaching a bit . Of course they can hold on to their 3 wins against opponents with winning records, none of which had a point margin greater than 7.

I blame that on the coin toss. Hawaii won the toss, elected to defer to the second half, and Tech chose to kick off meaning they had to kick off after halftime too.
I know if I was the ref, I would have looked at the Tech player and said, "You sure?"

Saw where Willie Roaf made the trip to San Diego to watch the Bulldogs. I'd like it if he could become the new o-line coach

I'm not going to say that Tech will blow out TCU, but to discount Tech based upon the WAC over MWC is not accurate. Look at TCU's schedule and who they played based upon ranking..
We would be their 2nd best win and the 3rd best team they played this year:
8. Boise St (won by 1 pt)
24. Baylor (lost by 2 pts)
40. LOUISIANA TECH
45. BYU (won by 10 pts)
56. San Diego St (won by 13 pts)
58. Air Force (won by 16 pts)
79. SMU (lost by 7 pts)
83. Wyoming (won by 11 pts)
116. ULM (won by 21 pts)
135. Portland St (won by 42 pts )
141. Colorado St (won by 24 pts)
157. UNLV (won by 47 pts)
171. New Mexico (won by 69 pts)
