Just updated recently

quote:

Chapel Hill, NC (Sports Network) - North Carolina head coach Roy Williams painted a rather grim picture when addressing point guard Ty Lawson's nagging toe injury at a Tuesday press conference, intimating the team may have to carry on without him in the Tar Heels' tournament opener against Radford.

"I'm as discouraged at this moment as I have been since it happened, Williams said of the injury. "I'm a little surprised by the severity of it. I really expected it to respond quicker than it has."

Let's hope the healing process continues to take a long, long time. Just keeping tabs on it in case LSU does advance.

Can't wait until he "miraculously" recovers to almost 100% just before the tip-off of their second round game.

Hopefully he'll miss the LSU game if they beat Butler.

This is great news. I hope he tweaks it on the jetway tomorrow.

Oh wait, they aren't flying. Because they're North Carolina and always get to play in North Carolina.

Bastards. Can't wait till we beat them.

This is good for Radford...

However, if Radford somehow beats UNC, LSU will have lost to Butler the game before.
