Lue was the lakers first choice
he wanted 8-9 million and they said no. So he picked his next spot. Like I said he can pick his spot to be the #1 assistant. Any franchise would be glad to have him.
Lue = spo
Widely leaguewide respected but fans the casual fans say he sucks (or said he sucked in spo case) when he doesn’t win a title with lebron. Spo prove everyone wrong and Ive a good feeling ty will do the same.

No they’re not equal at all. Lue is Lebrons buddy Spolstra is an upper level NBA coach.
Titles
Spo- 2
Lue- 1, a season he didn’t even fully coach
Wins
Spo- 564
Lue- 128
There’s recorded data for a reason, so that spinsters like you can’t exaggerate or be dishonest about what happened. Spolstra has more finals appearances than Lue has full seasons coached lol.
And if the Lakers had wanted him they’d have hired him. Again you mix narrative with reality, LeBron May have wanted Lue the Lakers didn’t, if he were Phil Jackson like you claim the Lakers would’ve paid the way they have in the past.

MJ and Kobe get passes are they were not as physically talented
This is where we are. Two 6'6 slam dunk contest winners are treated like Rudy.

When you win a bunch of rings
This is where we start ignoring that Kobe averaged 15 ppg in the finals when he won his first ring. We ignore when Shaq left, Kobe was getting owned by the Suns in the first round or missing the playoffs.
Kobe publicly demanded a trade. That's how bad things were going without Shaq. Then, the Lakers got Gasol and Kobe had the sidekick he needed.
Again, it's the same sort of thing. Ignore Kobe's floundering when Shaq got traded for Lamar Odom and Caron Butler, ding LeBron for not winning with Mo Williams.

Bubba tbt I can’t ever take your opinion on coaches seriously after I see what you did to Ed O on here for years and years. Your ability to judge coaches is poor at best. You have a track record. And Just bc you coach little league basketball Or whatever don’t mean you have one iota of what the nba game is about.
FYI Former Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Tyronn Lue was thought to be the clear front-runner for the L.A. job, but ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that negotiations broke down between the two sides Tuesday when Lue turned down a three-year, $18 million offer due to his desire for a five-year contract.
FYI They didn’t offer him enough money.

Lmfao now you’re just making shite up. Saying that Orgeron needed to win something before being considered LSUs savior isn’t critical or “hate” it’s called reality. And BTW I ignored all the insteps including the Troy game and was in his corner 100% his first year. I make judgments based on info, when it changes my opinions change because I don’t marry predictions and I seldom make them. You’re just lying at this point which means you have no counter to the facts. Nice try though

“FYI They didn’t offer him enough money.”
I guess that’s because they ran out of it and not because they didn’t think he was worth it lmfao. My god you live in a fantasy world.

Yes THE TRUTH is where we are, and Rudy? cmon man that's a dismal and incorrect characterization

Kobe's breakthrough, drilled the game-winning shot in game 4 to basically win the Finals for the Lakers

Growing pains of the maturation of the Mamba for sure but I already addressed this in another post

Exactly and, after all this was done and Phil returned, Kobe used this as fuel to produce 3 straight Finals appearances and a league MVP

ding LeBron for not winning with Mo Williams.
That team won 66 THEN 61 games in back-to-back seasons, Mo Williams made an all-star team, Antawn Jamison and even oldass Shaq made meaningful contributions to that squad, they possessed HC advantage the entire playoffs both seasons and lost to inferior opponents. The 2010 Cavs had the SECOND-HIGHEST ODDS (after the Lakers) to win the title that season and got bounced by a 50-win Celtics team in the conference semis. Anyone with a functioning brain would ding him for that, it's his team and he has all that talent and ability.

you Couldn’t tell the direction the program was heading til it was obvious to everyone. Very poor “feel” when it comes to judging coaches.

Desperation in an argument is boring

Meh. Vogel got half of what they offered Lue. And only 3 years.
Posted on 4/9/20 at 6:39 pm to Boomshockalocka
.....And? Wait do you thing you’re making a point? Oh yea you’re making mine, thanks.

The lakers weren’t gonna give longer than a three year deal bc that’s when lebron deal expires. They offer Lue a deal that would have made him a top 5 paid coach. Lue said no bc he knows he can get more money and years this offseason.

On what planet was Mike Brown ever a better coach than Stan Van Gundy and Doc Rivers?
Posted on 4/9/20 at 6:42 pm to Boomshockalocka
So let me get this straight, Lue turns down the Lakers because they didn’t wanna give him 8mil per year but agrees to far less as an assistant with the Clippers? Lmfao yea that makes sense
Oh now it’s over years? Lol you literally just went look at the story and changed yours. Classic Lmfao

That is exactly what happened.

Exactly when? Your first interpretation, your second or your third? I can’t keep up with all the changes you’re making to your initial well informed story. Jesus man you don’t have to keep doing this I won’t badger you.

Ty Lue and his reps turned down the Lakers’ offer Tuesday, per league sources. LAL regrouped with an offer in the range of 3 years, $18 million today. Lue’s side pulled out of negotiations. Lue’s camp seeking 5 year deal with salary commensurate with championship resume
