CFP tickets were historically high
Last year's super bowl ticket prices were comparable to this one.. Not sure what the narrative is...
Last year get in price fell below 3k as the game got closer. A large decrease compared to the huge prices in Vegas

Why has that outpaced inflation? I signed up for this site for the LSU/Ohio Stae BCS game in 08 and then followed the Saints Super Bowl prices in 10 and prices were under $1,000 for both.

It's amazing how many on here lack very basic logic skills based on the comments.
We already knew Indiana-Miami set record prices, so seeing it next year is to the biggest event of the year just really puts that in perspective.
As for the NFL itself, you can't draw any conclusions from it at all. Unless you're comparing it from previous years. Which, that's not the case.
