My local CBS affiliate is owned by Nexstar, which is currently in a dispute with DirecTV. I’m old school and still have DirecTV for now. So, I am having to watch on Paramount +. Stream quality has been good so far.

fair enough. i literally don't watch TV besides CFB. i actually don't even own a TV. i watch on my laptop or larger monitor. plus, no physical equipment, extra stuff required w/ streaming services

just tried FuboTv. no issues. i think the issue is Directv Stream. which sucks, because i'm a big fan of DTV stream.

Good grief that time of possession difference between Rutgers and Northwestern.

Where networks stream sports

CBS -> Paramount Plus (and CBSsports.com/app)
NBC -> Peacock (and NBC Sports app)
ABC -> ESPN
FOX -> One of these kids is doing his own thing...

Northwestern has UTEP next week and Howard in early October.

They better win at least one of those or they won't be winning at all.

I keep trying to tune into this game and every time I change the channel a commercial is on. I'm about ready to give up and just stick to King of the Hill.

That is not targeting.

That’s not a good targeting call. QB suddenly slid and invited the contact as a runner.

You have to feel really bad for all the "Big J Journalists" from Northwestern that are having to watch the past 12 months of their program.

Real shame for Darren Rovell, Mike Greenberg, Michael Wilbon, Rachel Nichols, Adam Schefter, etc. Not a smug one in the group. I find them always to be humble, grounded, and appreciative of their opportunity.

Hate to see this for them.

Michigan State has a Korean-American QB named Kim and a PK named Kim. So there's that.

SEC leadership fricked up bigly leaving CBS to go full hog w/ESPN.

They did. As has been noted there will be seven weeks this year when CBS does the big ten that we could see the top three Big Ten games on free tv OTA and next season we may see 13 weeks where the top three Big Ten games are on free tv OTA.

Yeah but this game features the 1 and 3 media markets in the country. Ratings should be through the roof.

Seriously though would be interesting to compare these ratings to other games this weekend.

I know they're expected to be one of the better FCS teams this year but UTEP struggled w/Incarnate Word yesterday. If NW can't beat UTEP it means the team has already quit.

This commentator just went Gus Johnson and called a missed field goal “incomplete.”
