you don't?

this team is better on defense IMMEDIATELY.
grant hill still coming off the bench to back up the sg and sf spots.
there's still plenty of scoring.

I WISH

but seriously, that lineup is the type of lineup that posey would be perfect for

wade and amare can create their own shots. haslem has a good midrange game. chalmers facilitates.

they need a defensive/glue guy who shoots 3s

yes. when a team has two legit 25+ ppg scorers to carry the burden, that's when you get posey.

i'll also accept 3 20+ ppg scorers.

adding 3 new starters to a team that is already unstable?

id be weary. plus Shaq will be hurt soon

but part of the reason the team is unstable is because of amare- and the fact that they have jrich, amare, shaq fighting for touches and nash giving up his own to keep people happy. the team is far from gelled right now anyway.

gay doesn't really want the ball. marion doesn't need the ball. addition by subtraction (+ better defense).

i think they make the playoffs if this trade happens. and probably improve their situation if this happens. this is the best i could conceive of the suns getting from an amare trade.

they get young talent as well as a chance at competing right now.

yeah gay won't disrupt anything. he'll be the 3rd option and do what he does

so they'll have Shaq, Gay and JRich fighting for touches now.

Gay wants the ball. Dont fool yourself. I think he is too young to take a back seat and play a role he has never played before and be a possible 3rd or 4th option.

You're right about Marion though.

have you watched gay at uconn or at memphis?

his biggest knock on him his whole career has been passive play. the dude is perfectly content to wander around the perimeter and knock down 3s and play defense despite the fact that he has the scoring ability of a 25 ppg scorer.

need proof? look at how quickly he's submitted to Mayo.

gay would have no problem fitting in.

no player on my team is more frustrating to watch than gay. i literally hated him 2 weeks ago

anytime i watch a memphis game he just wanders around the 3

and for a guy who passes so much (so he doesn't have to take the shot), he only gets like 2 apg

if i were phoenix, i would try to get Randolph from Golden State. Dude is going to be a beast, eventually an all-star. Don Nelson is one stubborn frick.

they could get him

the problem is the warriors have to deal contracts to phoenix, and they want expiring deals

the best deal in basketball sense for everyone is the one to golden state. i think phoenix gets AB, AR, and ellis there

dude is 18th in the NBA in shot attempts per game(ahead of ANYONE on the Suns right now)

maybe you catch him on nights when he sleepwalks

for the sake of my fantasy roster, i hope this would give amare a little fire under his arse.

i truly believe he has not even came close to reaching his full potential as a basketball player.

that deal would work for both teams. phoenix would be getting alot back for amare.
