For the record, in another thread (about Luka) I mentioned that I never took a Trout in Facebook baseball group polls of which players you would start a team with, and I had an absolute brain fart and said Steve. And even though within 15 seconds I’d corrected it to Mike, some folks screen shotted the original erroneous post and have had fun at my expense. Which is fine, I’m not whining, I opened the door and earned it.

For the record again, the reason I don’t take Trout over people who are inferior players to Trout at his best is that even in imaginary situations, I have no confidence in Trout’s ability to stay healthy, and even the greatest players are of no use to me and can’t help me beat people if they’re not in the lineup.
