When stephen A Smith isn't playing his screaming role he's actually a pretty likeable, smart guy. He'd have calm segments all the time when he was on Fox sports radio and actually had really good opinions on things and usually preached personal responsibility. It's a shame he plays his role like 99 percent of the time though.

This. Stephen A gets shitted on here but he is very well spoken, intelligent and has charisma/personality. He just is a troll(sometimes playing the race card) along with bayless.

Sad but true. He is a well spoken sports guy. It's a shame he has to put up with skip on a daily basis. But yes he will throw the race card out there any chance he gets. Skip is just horrible. His act has gotten very old and the show gets way way to involved with cowboy talk.

He was a really good radio host with Fox. Surprised me. Totally different persona than his typical one.
