The two Major Jr teams in the Seattle Metro draw 5k average or so...no brainer for an NHL Franchise.
One of the few times the NHL got an expansion correct lately. Get out of the Sun Belt and serve your core first. Then grow. Seattle is a largely underserved hockey market.
Look forward to them joining the WEST but hate the current expansion draft system. Ughh.

With a pick, Allen and his contract becomes a Seattle goalie.
They will be looking for shite contracts+ picks to get to floor. Allen would be a good fit.

Just saw where the IIHF is really serious about moving to NHL size rinks. I like the International rinks as it lets the skaters skate and bigger face off circles in the zones.
