That opening night Vegas had was amazing. The shooting the bagpipes and then just bam it was Electric scoring so soon.

They Coyotes we’re terribly run for the past 6 or 7 years, however they cleaned house and consolidated ownership prior to this year. It’s night and day difference. The fanbase is fine, the teams been dogshit for years. Also the arena is in a shite location, but once they move to the east valley they’ll be fine.
Winning cures everything, and for the first time in years it looks like they have a good chance to do that.

The Coyotes missing out on Eichel and Matthews was huge. McDavid was not going to move the needle much in Phoenix. Just my opinion.

One thing about Pittsburgh. They don't bother with stuff like trying to win President's Trophies, winning divisions, getting home ice, or any regular season stuff. They know all they have to do is get to the playoffs and they are good enough to go all the way no matter who they play or where they play them. Probably keeps them a little fresher mentally because they don't chase regular season trinkets.
