Just in from watching the game. Got no voice and my ears are ringing. I has happy.

My only letdown...no last second empty net goal for the over tonight. Can't have everything.

I dont see enough people betting enough money on vegas winning for them to even care. Im sure they already covered their potential losses

They took a lot of action on VGK...and not just from locals. Many visiting fans that came in for games throughout the season went to their casinos and dropped some coin on them.

500/1 was the highest odds that I've heard of.

Leicester City won the Premier League a couple of years back at 5,000/1. There were a few scattered bets but nothing that really hot the books terribly.

Don't feel bad for the books if they have to pay off from VGK winning....it's not like they won't make it back in short order.

Boy, another HUGE game 5 tonight and playoff Hockey sure will test your health! It's crazy how one final series looked destined for game 7 after starting 1-1, and the other final series looked like a possible sweep after home team started with a 0-2 deficit. Seems like a long time ago, both these series have gone opposite ways since. Vegas is looking sharp right now and their goalie is on fire.

Hopefully the Lightning can be the first team to win at home this series, and getting a sweet start could help with all that. Considering how this series has had huge momentum swings, starting well would serve the Lightning well. The Lightning started well last game, but taking so many penalties in-a-row totally snatched away what mojo they had started to build up. Washington came on strong during this and the Lightning can not do that again, period! The Lightning wasn't able to get their mojo back until they scored in the 3rd, and they can't afford to give Washington's snipers that much puck possession again. Consecutively, taking that many penalties didn't allow the Lightning's best players to have the puck on their sticks for a pretty long stretch. Took scoring in the 3rd to get their legs back under them, but luckily the Lightning's goalie stood on his head during that stretch, and he was the difference in that game. New game now, and here we go, game 5's are so intense...

Go Lightning !!!!

Sweden’ dominated the USA Today
Right now Switzerland leads Canada 1-0 1st intermission

Johnny Hockey did his best Paul Bunyan with a filthy slash to a upper arm.
