Mess is being kind. If I was the GM I would’ve unloaded CP31 and Max at the deadline and said let’s rebuild it right. Hire St Patrick and say you coach them I’m giving you 4 years to get above Ottawa and Toronto tell me what you want and I’ll go get it.

If the Preds pull this one out, Lavy may need to get the 1st star for pulling Pekka. As good as he has been in the regular season, he has traditionally been bad in the playoffs. Seems like he gets the big game nerves. Although he was good in Game 6, its was as much about the defense as it was about him. Defense looked slow early on in this game but those goals shouldn't have been scored.

Molson is the one that is puzzling to me. He knows Bergy is a train wreck but won’t do anything. I’d think as an owner of the greatest franchise in hockey you’d be more quick on a trigger. Bergy has sunk to Vigneault levels of hate to me.

Don't agree with Lavy's decision to shorten the bench. Gotta let the 4th line skate their share in the 2nd to give Preds a shot in the 3rd period
