I remember Jets fans melting on his pick. And he might be the franchise GOAT.

Wait are we using Winnipeg or the franchise?

If just Winnipeg team then it’s Selanne. But Heatley right now is GOAT Thrasher/Jet

Top 3 Winnipeg guys imo
Selanne
Hull
Housley

Heatley only played 2.5 seasons for Atlanta. How is he the GOAT?

He’s the best player that they’ve ever had that’s how.

Well that's just not true. Kovalchuk and Marian Hossa were both better.

Hossa was never better than Heatley. You won’t back off a russian so no point in even trying to discuss that one.

Was there in 90’s after he left Buffalo then he went to the Blues. Was there for 3 or 4 years.

I can tell you Selanne is the most beloved Jet of all time, last game he played in Winnipeg with the ducks he was applauded every time he touched the puck...if memory serves he was first star with an assist or something.

And that’s a wrap... 4-1 Jets. Would be hilarious if the first Canadian team to win since the Canadians in the 90s is the expansion team.
