If your Patriotism begins and ends with the National Anthem being played before a sporting event you might want to re-evaluate it.
Personally, I don't really care one way or another. I wouldn't seeing it regulated to big events and international competition. It doesn't affect how I feel about this country.

what is the point is the singing of the anthem is not anyone's problem its been done for decades upon decades. removing the anthem does not fix a single thing about anyones problems nor any systemic problems in this country or relations. its absolutely just the cancel culture looking to grab hold of anything next.

I’m completely indifferent on it being played. There’s just really no reason to play it when it’s not an international competition. If they want to play it before, fine. If they don’t, fine. Anyone acting like they’re offended and hurt is just looking for attention or just pretending to be more patriotic than others.
