Vitale is upset because mediocre big conference teams are getting in over smaller schools. I’m sure it has nothing to do with Pitino.

But these things aren’t exclusive. Even if you aren’t going to take the NIT seriously, you should still go just to let some of your rotation guys enjoy playing time.

UAB was worse this year than last they just happened to win the conf. tourney championship game this year because instead of playing the conference's 1 seed on it's way to the Final 4 they played the conference's 11 seed.

Nobody cares about teams from those conferences so that would hurt it even more. Basically turn it into the CBI.

Well, the 1 seed USF shouldn’t have ate shite against the 11 seed.
That said the UCF/USF first round matchup is fire.
