I'd rather appreciate the great players and series then sit behind my computer praying for the Heat to lose every night.

So you're going to sit behind your computer and pray for the Heat to lose every night after you appreciate the great players and series?

We just #witnessed arguably the greatest offensive display in a half in NBA history.

Basketball perfection. Basketball porn. Anyone who doesn't appreciate what we saw tonight can go frick themselves.

Did anyone think the heat would sweep or win in 5?

Plenty of people did. Heat in 5 was a popular prediction.

As if the Heat were going to win 4 out of 5 games (3 of them being in San Antonio) against the best team in the league.

Yet, every god damn thread is about Lebron.

LBJ is a better story.

Spurs are boring.

In a world of sports news on TNT, ESPN, etc...and on message boards where we go to be entertained, we don't want dry topics about Danny Green or Kawhi Leonard.

Spurs could shoot 100% for the game, and all people want to see is "How will LBJ respond".

This is easily one of the most ignorant, idiotic statements there is when discussing this series.

This is dumb. Just because every play isn't an alley-oop 360 sportscenter top play.

The spurs play a beautiful game, and I feel sorry for you for missing it because you find them "boring".

Are you saying their style of basketball is boring or they are boring as individuals off the court?

I'm not saying I personally think they are boring, but from a news, social media and message board perspective, they are boring comparative to the superstar that is LeBron James.

People want to watch/talk about LBJ struggling in or dominating a finals game. No one wants to talk about or really cares about the Spurs shooting such a high percentage (which is the point of the OP).

Tim Duncan will go down as one of the best if not THE best big men in the game. He's a solid individual and an insanely smart basketball player. But he isn't extremely entertaining. Neither is anyone else on the talented roster of the Spurs.

LBJ is where the drama and story is at (whether positive or negative). It's what sells, it's what people talk about and it's what people watch.

Anyone on the spurs has a bad quarter or a bad series, it's talked about for 2 seconds. LeBron misses a jumper in the 2nd quarter of a pre-season game and 30 threads are started about how overrated he is.

People love drama. They want drama. They want someone to hate. They want someone to bandwaggon with. The Spurs offer none of that. It's not a knock on them. It's just who they are. They put in work, they do well and they don't make headlines.

Think about it. This team is one of the best teams in the NBA every year, yet every year they are "under the radar". There is a reason for that.
