Sports betting thread, 3/30 *opening day*

Depending on the schedule, last year I would generally make three one unit bets per day. These bets are two leg parlays, and the bet is “lead after second inning > tie”. I look for games with strong starting pitchers preferably facing weaker hitting lineups that I believe can hold the opposing team scoreless over the first two innings. As with any form of sports betting, it’s a very imperfect science. Anyway, here we go.

How stupid would it be to take two teams expected to win 100 or so games, such as Astros/Braves, and just bet a two team ML parlay every single day they play on the same day?

Hard to say. He will be missed, but the offense has overcome the loss of an every day player multiple times over the last few years. There’s plenty of firepower in that lineup.

4-1 in MLB! These were all + plays besides the Braves. Parlay was +330!
