I know that sports betting is currently illegal in LA, but I always here colleagues taking about it or even on the radio. Are their currently any ways for an LA resident to bet on sports, other than going to Mississippi? Any legal websites?

TIA

I plan to in November! However, I'm hearing even with a passed vote that it still might not be until 2022 until LA is up and running with it.

Any truth to that?

Somewhat shocking that both Miss and Ark have legal sports gaming and LA doesn’t yet.

I'm sure La has many more sportsbettors per person than does Ark and Miss. Be it local BMs or Offshore..

But, we have disfunctional grift politicians, and bible thumpers up North past I-49..

Plus, local moguls(JG), their lobbyists, and state regulatory agency(LSP), all positioning for their cut and/or say in the who, what, where, when, how much..

Typical Louisiana Retardation..molasses asses.

The real question is when the hell daily fantasy is going to be implemented. I thought it was supposed to be in time for the NFL season

Same problem for DFS as Sportsbetting..

The delay is by the Retards running this sorry state..

They have to figure out how to bleed their cut, and the infighting of the Ws(Who, What, Where, When, and hoW much)

Arkansas needs to get its shite together and allow online sports betting. We can bet online horse racing but no sports yet.

Not only this, but it seems like many of the state offices in Baton Rouge have treated COVID like a vacation. They have been even less productive than there usual selves since mid-March.

Even if you vote yes this November there's zero guarantee it will be legalized by 2022.

Fantasy sports was voted yes in 2018 and we're still debating on who gets to police it in this year's special session
