NYC gets all the pub whenever a team does well and has for 100 years and they still have 2 guys who batted back to back in the 1920's and 1930's on theirs.

You can't really make a big argument against either.

Right, but I would've swapped Frazier for one of Robinson or Mays was what I was saying.

I think I would have Dale Murphy over Chipper, who has always kinda irritated me for some reason.

For Miami, I'd put Csonka over Griese.

Altuve is the cornerstone for the most successful period any franchise in the city has had. He’s had multiple iconic moments in Houston sports history including arguably the biggest (2019 ALCS walkoff). If you want to include those guys they belong over Watt or Earl Campbell

I love Biggio and Bagwell but postseason performance matters quite a bit in these types of things. Altuve is one of the great postseason performers in MLB history with two championships and Biggio/Bagwell were notorious for disappearing in October

Altuve and Hakeem are the ones set in stone IMO.

watt, Moon, Ryan, Biggio, Bagwell, Campbell, ect all could have an argument after them two.

Agreed. Altuve is to these Astros as Hakeem was to the mid 90s Rockets

Altuve actually performed well and made clutch hits in the postseason, as you said.

He was also our best player during the lean years.

Meanwhile, that 1998 team might've been our most stacked ever.

We'd race on 2920 in high school like AJ did back in the day.

Franco Harris over Terry Bradshaw ? Huh ? You really can't guess why?

I can, Franco was more popular with the fanbase in an era where it wasn’t all about the QB. He was also the 2nd leader rusher for a time before Payton passed him and Jim Brown.

The Green Bay/Milwaukee one is the worst, has to have some one from the Lombardi era, Starr or Nitske

They should replace Glavine with Julio or Vick for Atlanta, even with the latter's issues.

Charlotte:
Luke Kuechly
Cam Newton
Larry Johnson
Steve Smith

Not to mention he was a Pennsylvanian too.

Mean Joe Greene before either Franco or Bradshaw. You can delineate Steeler history in two phases: Before Mean Joe and After Mean Joe.

It’s for Houston not Nashville*

Definitely a case could be made for Moon but Watt is way more popular with the fan base. As great as Moon was, his legacy with the fans is largely shaped by epic playoff chokes

* Moon apparently said the Titans should wear the Oiler throwbacks
