Speaking of pro bowl, should they bring back the College All Star Game?

You know, where the college all stars played the Super Bowl Champs in the summer?

Neither party would agree to it.

No. If the Super Bowl champ even remotely took it seriously it would be 70-3 every season.

My first thought was that some incoming rookies might be killed. But looking back the college team won 9 out of 41 games. 2 were ties and there were plenty of games within 2 TD's. Only 12 of the 41 were blowouts (21 pts or more) by the pros. This pretty much defies all logic on my end. Were these games consistently fixed?

No, it's just a different era now. That was back when being a professional football player was a part time job. These guys train like hell 365 days a year now and the NFL weight training programs have gotten "enhanced" over the years. The skill players may hold up for a little while, but the NFL linemen would absolutely flatten the college linemen.
