Horrible idea. But beggars cant be choosers. As a SELU fan\alum i would go to the sun belt and ask to be included.

This thought process is why the SWAC is a joke and the Southland needs to stay away from their schools.

Thats what i said, beggars cant be choosers. Louisiana has so much talent in baseball and football. Gotta keep the conference together or elevate another conference.
Horrible idea because youre asking teams to leave a conference that solidifies their history and why they are who they are.

I guess the only other option would be getting some D2 schools to move up. I get it's a football move, but outside of Tex Southern those SWAC schools are just flat out garbage in basketball.

Nailed it. The football programs put 2 or 3 teams in the playoffs every year. Sam houston is a huge loss for the conference. They are always a top dog in football. The question is why are we asking the swac now? I would assume these execs know they arent budging. We are 90 days away from football and knew the texas schools were gone 4 or 5 months ago. Hopefully this is planned.

Central arkansas and incarnate world i believe. I think all texas schools are gone but 1, and i gotta imagine its incarnate. Like i said, "i think." But southland cant last on 6 schools.

No, UCA is leaving for the Atlantic Sun. Houston Baptist is left with UIW in football. TAMU-Corpus Christi is also a member of the conference in other sports.
