Klay has said the opposite. But I would expect a major move outta GSW this offseason. You gotta mix it up to keep complacency from setting in. They are already bored as all get out this season. Next would be even worse without some new faces with KEY roles in the locker room.

would laugh so hard if this happened and lebron got 7 rings so all the jordan nut riders would lose their primary argument

Yeah we’ll all just ignore the fact that Jordan didn’t have to run off and pair up with other superstars to get his.

So Lebron, Curry, and Durant would all be on the same team? The NBA needs to just shut it down to about 8 clubs full of nothing but superstars and maybe make the other teams farm clubs for the big 8.

Free agency didn’t exist early on in MJ’s career, so even when it did start, the concept of certain players joining up together simply wasn’t there yet.

We ignore everything else, close our eyes, and say "6 Rings!!!!" but NOW we want to stop ignoring everything else and stop counting the rings?

As much as I enjoy the Pelicans, I agree with contraction of the league. Especially if this trend continues.

I can’t speak for anyone else, but I’ve always thought that using the championship count as some stand-alone metric for individual greatness was a stupid idea, even in the NBA.

Well the warriors with KD are a different beast than warriors without KD. Lebron never beat all these dudes and is unlikely to. So it’d be a pretty massive if you can’t beat em join em.

Not all together because there isn’t a team that can in a 7 game series but don’t forget he beat the Warriors and he beat KD & Westbrook .

What exactly are we ignoring? This seems to imply that, absent the rings, it is cut and dry that Lebron is the better player. And that is simply not the case.

The fanboys wouldn’t know what to do if this happened.

LeBron should join the Warriors and then use what he’s learned in Cleveland to poison the locker room.

Good one

Who the F does Lebron think he is? The dude is the biggest narcissistic clown to ever play in professional sports. So the Warriors have to break up basically their entire team to get you....nah...they've only lost 35 regular seaon games in the last 3 years - they don't need you.

The best individual player the game has ever seen to this point.

He is narcissistic. Most pros are.

He is a clown on many subjects (particularly social media behavior and discussions of sociopolitical issues).

But he is not the biggest of either when it comes to pro sports.

This is Lebrons play to try to break up the Warriors. He’s not actually going there.
