rogue meaning the way he obtained signals and deciphered signals. there's no evidence to suggest that anyone on the staff knew about this whole operation
Wasn't he hired as a recruiting analyst?
None of this seems to be related to recruiting

Its like you are picking and choosing what you want to matter.

for the millionth time. one is MAYBE breaking NCAA rules. the other is maybe breaking FEDERAL law, which is classified as a felony
potential NCAA violation vs. illegal activity per Federal law
I don't think YOU are understanding the huge disparity in situations
You missed my whole point. I am not talking about the difference in seriousness of each (all other issues with your arguments being not valid aside).
This must be what its been like arguing with you this whole time...woof.

So the OC and DC listened to this guy when they were calling plays, and never once inquired how he got that info?

There has been nothing disseminated to the public showing anything you're alleging happened regarding a PI firm hacking.
There are significant pieces of evidence provided to the public showing Michigan's advanced scouting and video recording. Even if it was just one "rogue staffer".
Can you agree with that?

this is the problem. the media has orchestrated an avalanche of allegations and reports which haven't been verified by anyone and everyone wants UM to receive the death penalty w/o any semblance of due process
what evidence is there that connor stallions HIMSELF was at our future opponents games? not hearsay, not potentially, real proof that shows that he HIMSELF was at the games recording
do you have verified evidence of that?

This is the funniest shite I've ever seen.
Y'all were busted cheating. Deal with it, accept the consequences, and move on.

Nothing that you would deem as evidence, but what nearly any rational person would.
And there is confirmation from a person, paid by Stalions, that he went to football games to video the sidelines and give that footage to Stalions.
You agree that a UM staffer paid people to video opponents sidelines to get the signals, right?

So you do not believe it was him at the CMU game, correct?
Hasn't at least one UM insider that confirmed it was him?

This rumor about Day’s brothers being involved is a riot. It was purposely started for kicks on a podcast last week to see if it would spread like wildfire. It took less than 24 hrs.

what's his name? all i saw was an ESPN article that alleged that Stallions paid him to watch the PSU/UMASS game. that's it. allegation. might be true, might not be

TBH, i'm not sure. it RESEMBLES him, but it hasn't been PROVEN to be him by anyone, including CMU, who investigated the matter
if Jim McElwain confirmed that it was CS, then we would have had some REAL proof to start with. as of right now, the public only has allegations and reports of unnamed sources
sorry you don't like the American court system, but I like due process

Michigan fans and Biden voters are one and the same. The narrative is only true if it spins in your favor. If it doesn’t, rewrite the narrative.

I actually agree with him that a significant punishment shouldn't come until all the facts are gathered. You can't put the genie back in the bottle if you blow up Michigan's season, and it turned out that things aren't as bad as they seem based on leaks, available images, and public reports of wrongdoing from all these B1G schools.
That said, the B1G presumably has significantly more information and evidence than is available publically. I have a hard time believing there isn't enough there to make a determination, but maybe there isn't.
It's increasingly more likely this goes very deep and likely Harbaugh knew or should have known exactly what this guy was doing. He had to have if they trusted him to directly influence play calls.
Occam's razor would say they all knew. But we shouldn't blow up a program based on rationality. The evidence needs to be there, especially for a move as unprecedented as vacating games mid seasonm

Getting your brother sent to prison for a federal crime to get one spreadsheet when you already have evidence of dozens of ticket purchases and red-handed footage of Michigan staffers illegally scouting at your school and every other one in the Big Ten is for sure a real story
sums up perfectly how fricking dumb some people are

all i'm saying is that they are allegations and reports. they may very well be true, but it hasn't been established yet, that's all

He didn't want his name publicized for obvious reasons.
But ESPN verified texts he has with Connor Stalions. I'm really not sure how much more you want.

The fact that he HASN’T confirmed it wasn’t him by now tells you everything you need to know. Just like the White House cocaine. Nothing to see here.
