I’ve always felt like the sport would be better if they did a blue line like hockey. Ball must enter the zone before an attacking player…
My big problem with the current offsides rule is when defenders run forward away from their goal to cause an offsides…how does that make sense?
The sport spends too much time in an area of the field where you are not going to score…

The NFL is absolutely structured in a socialist/communist way.
But it's players make millions, so obviously it's a capitalist league.
Infrastructure and rules of the league notwithstanding.
And in CFB: Vanderbilt and Aggy get the same share of SEC bowl and tv payouts as UGA< LSU, Bama, and Aggy isn't going bowling. Vandy still has a chance.
But doesn't matter. Bowl or not, you get an equal share.
Some would say that's not fair. Others would say that's why the SEC is the best conference. Everyone is equal and no team is treated as better than the others (like the Big 12 and Texas).
Sounds pretty socialistic/communistic to me. Especially for the conference of one of the reddest regions in America.
