crazy but pretty dumb on Fitch's part unless he knows something about deals he can get in Japan or something. Wrestling people doesn't really sell PPVs.

Check out this link and you will know why Fitch didnt want to sign. This is not the same contract, but Ill bet it is pretty damned close.

UFC sent this deal out to all of its fighters over the summer (including me) and did NOT get a warm response. Not many signed it

Jesus Christ man, was anybody dumb enough to sign that? What's even worse is that this is what Vince McMahon has been doing for year.

“See, this is the one part of the business I fing hate. Everybody wants more money, they
want it now. And then all these fighters are like, we’re the superstars, not the UFC! It
should all be about us. You dumb motherfers. You don’t know what your f’ing with. I’m
a promoter, and a lot of this is built with smoke and mirrors.”

"We’re looking for guys who want to work with us and not against us, and frankly I’m just so fricking sick of this shite it’s not even funny. Affliction is still out there trying to build its company. Let [Fitch] go work with them. Let him see what he thinks of those count. frick him. These guys aren’t partners with us. frick them. All of them, every last fricking one of them…. I’m not a douche bag and I do a lot for these guys, a lot more than any of you will ever know. We’re in a horrible time in the economy now, and every guy with two nickels to rub together is making a run at us. We’ve worked too hard, given too much, to let certain guys come in and frick with that.”
