Also, maybe his voice is dubbed or something, but it sounds nothing like the Scooby Doo I remember from a kid...so did they just get someone who sounds nothing like SD to start voicing him?
he only did it for like a handful of straight to vhs cartoons 15-20 years ago. Anything of significance (the real cartoon, the movies, etc) had nothing to do with Scott.
Also, Scott was one of the first to start the voice overs during sad songs to capitalize on major national sad events. He had Josh as a kid reading "real letters" from little kids to their deployed soldier dads during the gulf war with Wing Beneath My Wings playing in the back and played it like 100 times a day for 2 years. "Dear daddy, is you gonna be home for christmas dis year? I sure hope you kill that bad man so you can take me fishing soon! I love you, my daddy!"
Same as when he wrote a crap song for Kenny Rogers' CD about 5 years ago and would play it about 10 times each hour saying "yall just keep on requesting it" as he tried to give it some false ratings boost so he could have a song he wrote make the charts.

That's actually kinda comforting. I fricking loved Scooby Doo as a kid.

I follow Scott on Facebook for the pure gold, between his divorce and firing the guy has had some classic meltdowns on there, but yeah the dude knows how to use the Internet

I really thought he was going to kick out the chair from under him the last time he had a fb melt down.
Shoe, did you listen to the Caliendo clip? It's on like page 5 of this thread.

Not one of my finer moments. But more of being drunk then a CRY. Ott always was an arrogant PRICK.He just treated me like shite cause I brought shite to his show he didn't like. Like calling him out when he was wrong. Him and ROSCOE are great for each other and I am glad he is suffering NOT being able to do a show the way he wants to. Hannagrif OWNS his arse daily.

in that caliendo clip Josh is pathetic
the guy is a guest on his show, says he doesn't want to talk to his hack dad and the douche just forces the stupid bit down his throat
and he whines and cries to force the stupid bit that nobody gives a shite about

I heard this last week and missed this thread. Did anyone mention that after the Rome/Stern story, pInnes of course mentioned how he was honored to be a fill-in host for Rome "14 or 15" times and immediately followed that by saying how "Rome's schtick had run its course" and that is why he was pulled by many affiliates, including Houston.
The following day on Matt Thomas' show/790am, someone called in and simply said "Josh Innes sucks" and hung up. It was a great week.

Yeah I can't really argue with any of that
But if it all was a lame set up then that is even worse
I can't listen to mike and mike, I listen to stern in the morning
