Great question. Everybody's been talking about FSU vs Bama when the real question should be how did Texas leapfrog FSU?

It's not a great question. It's obvious. They wanted SEC champ in (Georgia) then FSU is in.

But Bama fricked up the SEC champ is always in and were forced to take the team that beat Bama as well...

You could take Georgia without Texas, you can't take Bama without Texas without admitting you've gone full retard.

LOL “but muh H2H is the most Important thing!”

There’s a reason why we don’t use the BCS computers anymore, so stupid shite like that doesn’t happen.

but I think there’s plenty of objective ways to measure performance in CFB.

I don’t care what you think. Words mean what they mean. You can objectively say one team beat another team or one team allowed X amount of points. But no matter how much you want it to be so, there us no objective measurement for “better” or “best” team. Those are terms associated with subjective opinions

You HAVE to put in a 12-1 SEC champ who has the most top 15 wins, only loss was to one-loss team, and who knocked off GA in Atlanta.

You do not HAVE to put in a one-loss Big 12 champion.

Texas beat Bama.

the head to head is the ultimate trump card because this is sports and things are decided on a field of competition.

Texas competed against Bama.........and won.

Now take out the human polls and see how things shake out.

There's too much subjective "eye test" bullshite being used to justify fricking over a legit, undefeated P5 champ.

BTW - I have yet to hear ANYONE talk about how Bama was one of the best 4 teams when they literally needed divine intervention and a complete coaching brain fart by Auburn to win the Iron Bowl over a demonstrably bad to mediocre Auburn team.

Sorry, but a top 4 team shouldn't need miracles to beat shitty teams.

The issue most of us have is that if roles were reversed and Bama lost their starting QB, they would still be in.

Bama is literally receiving favoritism from the committee because of their name.

If the backup QB was complete arse like FSU then would have been bounced
