He's already at 109 pitches. Would have probably gone up over 120 to finish the game. Not something you want this early in the season IMO.

True!

fricking AP. Come on now! I need to get out of the office and have some beers after this game!

Some pretty cool shite in this game. After ARod hit a single they showed him on first base with Albert Pujols. Could end up being the 2 best right handed hitters ever. Definitely the two best of this generation.

And ARod's HR tied him with his former teammate Ken Griffey Jr on the all time list. God those Seattle teams had some talent.

And the sad part is that most shortstops would have made that play.

He's really good charging the ball, not so good to his right, and then horrible to his left.

Perfectly fine on routine plays.

How is it a "SLYT" if there's a new thread for every series?

Impressed with Kuroda today. Glad he was able to have such a good performance despite the jitters of pitching in the stadium for the first time as a Yankee.

Don't look now, but Swish is tied for the AL lead in RBI

AJ Burnett did an amazing job replacing Javier Vazquez as the biggest piece of shite in a Yankee uniform last year. Looks like Hughes will continue the tradition.

They will be ok. AP will come around and Morales and Trumbo should be good. Kendrick is sitting today as is Hunter so this isn't our top lineup.

Iannetta is the secret weapon. The dude can get on base as well as anyone. He is one of the most underrated players in the league. Last season, he had 70 walks in 112 games with 345 at-bats. That is awesome. He has a little pop as well (as evidenced by today).

Wilson managed his pitching well. He never really looked "dominant" but he managed to get out of almost every jam he got into unscathed.

Pujols is heating up...
