My hometown years ago had an annual charity football game (first responders vs alumni) and one of the guys suffered the same injury.
I remember a young kid asking “is your foot supposed to do that?” After that injury we cancelled all future events like that.

Sad to see him get injured like that.
He is a scrappy hard-nosed player that fans love.
Just a FYI - This injury occurred on a grass field. The players are always railing against turf fields and how they cause injuries (OBJ most recently).
