One season in one sport is certainly a basis for making such decisions...

You should probably fire the offensive coordinator if you have to punt too.

What would have Tulane’s record been with LSU’s conference schedule

Losses to Tennessee and Bama for sure. Tulane probably beats A&M, Auburn, Arkansas, and Florida.

Ole Miss and Miss St are toss-ups, kinda depends on when Tulane plays them.

My guess is Tulane goes 5-3 in conference with LSU’s schedule.

In my opinion, Tulane and LSU were similarly good teams this year, and Tulane would fare slightly worse, but not much.

"Play conference games in the Dome"> The State owns the Dome & the weenies would have to pay a fee to play a game there. And then pay any opponent a "road game " fee as well. Not economically feasible. And with its 30K-40K seat stadium, competing against 100K + stadiums in the conference, the money revenue will never balance out.

One of those 2 should offer Tulane would be a good fit for both

The Big 10 is probably on the phone right now with Tulane. They need to find a football team that wins in the post-season.

Seems like the Big 12 is a natural fit based on location and because other AAC teams are joining. If they can keep up their success and not be a 1-year wonder, then I'm sure they'll get an invite once Texas and OU leave.

If they are still good in 4 years they will go to the B12
