Feel like Dana would’ve gotten a bigger job sooner if he didn’t look like a guy trying to pick your kids up in an unmarked van

How so? I think we were solidly middle of the road in terms of Dana's salary. Something like #30 on the list of coaching salaries this year.

He was paid adequately to his results. Houston is going to have buyer's remorse in 4 years. Especially when OU bends them over to start next year.

Yeah, I was surprised to hear there was a dispute over his extension (asking for way too much). He isn't worth $4+ mil a year.

And I actually liked him - more than most of our fan base, at least.

Dana kind of killed our Florida connections.

We have 4 kids on the roster from Florida. When Nehlen, Rod, and Stew was here we always had ~15 guys from Florida.

Do some of you still think we're losing out on a good coach? Dude is a used car salesman.

Also didn't know Houston's hand sign was the shocker.

It shows how unattractive a job WVU is.

Dana savvy as hell to get out of there.

you really are dumb as frick

He wanted to stay but the AD didn't think he had proved himself enough to warrant another raise.

Everything else Dana wanted like the $100 million in facility upgrades is going to happen.

-Anything related to defense

You forgot to add identifying QB talent out of high school. His resume of high school signees includes: Paul Millard
Chris Chugunov
William Crest
Chavas Rawlins
David Sills was even a bust at QB, lol.

I don't think Dana is going to produce what Fertitta is demanding either. 2 years tops.
