Howard might work somewhere
The others all suck
Max Johnson as well but he sucks too
Shapen wants to go to a winning program, dude, Baylor isn't any good and you are a big reason why
He wasn't even mentioned as a top LA prospect when Aranda signed him, he was actually a more heralded baseball prospect

"Heinrich Bachmeier" is as Wisconsiny a name you could dream up.

I dont understand the kst kid leaving

OU and Tejas leave, so they have a great chance to be one of top2 teams and play for NY bowl game.

K State losing all their QBs? Rubley (no idea) entered portal as well.

Wouldn't mind LSU giving Will Howard a hard look

meh. Nuss has more upside IMO, and if we go sign a 5th year senior Nuss won't be sticking around to compete for his job. I don't think Howard is transferring to compete for a job either. He already had a starting job. He's not transferring to maybe be a backup

I'm guessing the reasoning is this: I'm a solid college QB with minimal NFL prospects. I'll cash in now with NIL while I can.

Avery Johnson, true freshman out of Derby High School. (Won 6A[largest class size in state] state title his senior year) Four star recruit who chose K-State over Notre Dame. Came into the Texas Tech game in the second quarter and ran for five touchdowns in the game. Still somewhat raw but has the same kind of explosiveness as Michael Bishop and Ell Roberson.

We could have said the same thing with Myles Brennan before Joe got here and Nuss before JD gets here. Ultimately, may the best man win

Those two scenarios didn't come with the backup leaving. There's not much upside to signing Howard. He's played 4 years of college football with very pedestrian production at his position. There's no need to create controversy within the program for a guy like that. Burrow came into a situation where Brennan, a RS freshman, was the only viable option. JD5 came in when Brennan quit football, Nuss was a RS freshman, and Johnson left the program.

He probably knows Avery Johnson is going to pass him after a full year in the system.
