DD has trouble making the cut. He's 134th on the money list. When his Open status expires he'll be relying on sponsor exemptions to play Tour events.

I've gone from completely hating him, to hoping he actually does pull it off. He seems to have dumped that "the world is conspiring against me" attitude, and is just playing golf.

Yep. I think what turned the tide for me was when Greg Norman's daughter dumped him. When you're dumped by a shark offspring you know your sh*t's weak.

He can keep on spraying drives and still be in decent shape at the British, problem is the guy cant putt.

You guys are forgetting the most important reason why Sergio is favored to win the Open. Seve will take care of the putting for Sergio from the other side

the worst thing that could happen to serge would be to find himself in the lead on Sunday in a major. his mind would eat itself.

The guy can putt, his putting doesn't match the level of his ball striking is a much better assessment of his current state.

I finally think he is ready mentally. The guy is one of the best ball strikers on either tour. He just needed some extra time to grow up mentally.

I hope so...watching the U.S. reminded me of how much talent he does have. The guy hit some amazing shots on Sunday.

I would be shocked. Sergio is like the Lebron of PGA golf. I'll be shocked if he ever wins a major going forward.

This is the dumbest statement of the year. Lebron is one of te top 3 players every year. Sergio had a few good years and that's it. No way comparable.
