He is somebody enough to where you think he is a nobody. Go play in the sandbox little boy.

You clearly don't know much about golf or don't follow it. Do you think Ricky Fowler, Stewart Cink and Anthony Kim are nobody's in golf?
Because Sergio is ahead of of all 3 in teh world golf rankings.

I gave up on you when you said Sergio didn't come into golf with any hype. You obviously don't follow golf. And don't know shite about how to compare. BOTTOM LINE. I will say this ONE last time to ya DIRK. SERGIO and BRON have come SOOOO close only to choke it away.

Since Stewart Cink beat Tom Watson at the British, he's been a nobody to me. Watson winning the British Open would've been the greatest sports story of the decade.
and the only difference in lebron and sergio is that lebron is viewed as the best in his sport! and Sergio is a nobody in golf!
Ask the Americans, whose asses he has kicked in the Ryder Cup for the past 12 years if Sergio's a noboby.

Nope, don't see it happening.

quote:so this is the reason why they are such similiar athletes? a lot of athletes have come close to championships, only to fail. and lebron hardly choked in the finals. there is a difference in playing poorly and choking. If dirks teammates wouldnt have picked him up in the first half of game 6 and the mavs lost you would have said he choked...but since terry was on fire, all of a sudden DIRK isnt a choker....good logic
SERGIO and BRON have come SOOOO close only to choke it away.

Don't be hating on Stewart Cink for that. If Watson would have properly clubbed himself on his approach to the 72nd hole there never would have been a playoff to begin with. That's where he lost the tourney.
I would have loved to see Watson win but it was cool to see someone I grew up playing Junior golf with win a major championship. I grew up playing Dixie Section (Alabama and the Florida panhandle) junior golf with Stewart, Boo Weekley, and Heath Slocum. Bubba Watson played in a lot of the same tourneys but was a few years younger.

Sergio's relying on the law of averages catching up with him.
On a serious note, I hope he wins the Clairet jug.

While Serge is playing some great, I mean GREAT, golf, I really don't see him having a top 3 performance at The Open.
Here's to hoping I'm wrong though. I like Sergio.
