Where is this coming from? From final rankings, Ole Miss and Miss. St were the 2nd and 3rd ranked team in their conference.
TCU was 2nd in the Big 12, and GT was 2nd in the ACC

I've thought the SEC was down the whole year and I'm a huge homer. I think Bama will probably beat OSU but will lose the next one. Everyone is forgetting how they have looked all year minus the SEC championship.

I love how now all of the SEC fans have evened the playing field. A week ago the ACC's best would be 6th in the SEC. Now they were uneven matchups.

I think the teams in the SEC West peaked early, and the long grind of a season brought them all down.
BTW.....go OSU. frick Bama. People that think you should pull for the conference are fricking crazy.

the thing about ole miss and miss state they don't have the depth that.. bama and auburn have and by the end of the year they were both shells of themselves.
It's not so much that the teams in the SEC are all better than any other game you will see anywhere else. its' just that it NEVER lets up. it's not that georgia tech could not win an SEC west game, it's that EVERY TEAM IN THE SEC WEST IS A GEORGIA TECH. there are no off weeks. there are no iowa states and wake forests in the sec west.
the grind literally is what brought miss state down.
