That's not telling of whether it worked or not. You're assuming the Rockets' lead wouldn't have been larger if the Lakers hadn't gone to that tactic.

They also could have scored 0 points. Rockets were up 2 when the Lakers started fouling Dwight. Rockets were up 5 when they stopped. There are many other reasons why we lost this game.

Yes. That's the point. Increasing the lead isn't telling of whether the hack-a-Dwight worked.
