He got a 5 and a game misconduct. Apparently interference that causes an injury is automatic 5 and misconduct. The injury of course wouldn’t happen if Wilson buckled his chin strap...

Not sure that should've been a game misconduct. Probably two for interference as the puck is nowhere near Wilson, but whatever. Reaves popped him good.
Wilson dishes out a ton of hits, he can't complain about getting lit up. And this was probably a response to Ovi laying Nosek out earlier in the game. Went full yard sale.

Wilson and Reeves were looking for each other immediately after puck drop. Hell, they were sizing each other up during the pre--game skate. Outside of the highlights, I didn't see much of the first game in Washington, so I don't know if there was some carryover from that game or not. Ovi's hit on Nosek may have raised the stakes slightly...but outside of the immediate reaction folks would have to a hit like that, the crowd didn't seem to be ultra fazed by it.
This seemed to be more of a case of the teams knowing that they're not facing each other again this season unless they met up in the SCFs again...so, settle any scores you have while you can.
