I predict Russell Wilson will agree to restructure his contract in the near future. The amount will probably remain the same except it will be loaded with incentives. He'll have to earn every penny. This is just my prediction, that's it.

Why do the Broncos and Saints have to give up a draft picks for this to work? Is Payton owned by the Saints? Sorry I’m clueless on this.

Been saying this. The Broncos had Wilson begging them to hire Payton and Ryans was going to Houston. Saints could have given it another day to see what they'd do.
I can't imagine the Broncos not doing the deal over the Saints 3rd. Not after all they invested into Wilson and after firing Hackett. Just my opinion.
