re: Scott Frost: I didn’t really want to take the NU job, I was “a lot happier” at UCF

It amazes me when these smaller programs do that. Similar to Ole Miss claiming the 2003 West title… It literally cements themselves as a “lesser than” to everyone and keeps them in that state. Never gets old

He'd thrown for a whopping 287 yards in two years (after redshirting) and didn't win the Ohio State job in spring ball. His own team didn't think he was better than QBs they had on their roster.
Burrow played behind JT Barrett - arguably the most decorated QB in Ohio State history. A lot of people think he beat Dwayne Haskins out in the Spring of 2018 but it came down to Urban Meyer going with the guy he recruited over the guy that Tom Herman recruited. Haskins went on to have a phenomenal season whose top 4 receivers were JR, SR, R-Sr, R-Sr. Stephen Sullivan and Derrick Dillon had combined for 25 career receptions and Chase, Marshall and Jefferson had combined for zero receptions prior Burrow arriving in 2018. At the end of the day, assuming that Joe Burrow wasn’t any better than Adrian Martinez was a pretty stupid assumption to anyone that was looking close enough.

Nebraska may never have a dynasty again. But there is zero reason they shouldn’t at bare minimum be a Wisconsin or Iowa level program. Same recruiting base. Same winnable schedule, but with more money, fan support, and winning tradition to back them.
No one expected Frost to win a title, but a 7-8 win season isn’t too much to ask. The dude outright failed and the rumor is that he was lazy.

I’m sure he regretted taking the Nebraska job after how horribly he flopped there.
But he obviously wanted to take the Nebraska job.

Bo Pelini isn't walking through that door.

It was Kelly that was saying he couldn't win at Notre Dame. Plus Freeman just proved he could get to the playoffs and almost won a championship. Right now Notre Dame has a lot better chance to win a championship than LSU. Why is that so?
Brady Quinn said it himself- ND didn’t make the commitment to NIL as well as assistant salaries/support staff until BK left. They didn’t have an NIL collective. BK leaving woke up their booster base.

You morons do realize BK took ND to the Champ game against Ala don’t you.His team got drilled just like Oh St whipped Freeman’s team.BK will win a Natty at LSU before ND does.A lot of depth of 4and5stars O/Dlines is required to win it all.NDs academic standards won’t allow them to be able to recruit the number of great players to win it all. There just aren’t that many great students who are also athletically gifted.

From what I heard he was drinking A LOT and was showing up to team meetings and practices hungover
You heard true. He got kicked out of at least one country club in Lincoln for being extremely drunk. Wrecked his truck and he missed multiple recruiting meeting because he was blasted.
Initially I felt bad for him but after what he said he can eat shite and die. frick him. Hes a piece of shite.
