The Oregon thread about theirs got me thinking...
Who has the best overal athletic facilities in the country(college)?
Per tOSU(I think I got all of it):
Woody Hayes Athletic Center:
The Bill and Mae McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion:
Bill Davis Stadium(Baseball):
Buckeye Field(softball):
Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium:
Stickney Tennis Center/Varsity Indoor Tennis Center:
Ohio Stadium:
Jerome Schottenstein Center:
St Johns Arena(Ugly as frick on the outside, but sets up an amazing atmosphere for rarely played basketball games in this arena).
Steelwood Athletic Training Facility:

Is the St. John's arena the old basketball center or something?

those are badass, 87.
it helps when you have one million two hundred thousand new entering freshmen every fall
i bet UCLA and USC have some pretty sweet stuff too for the athletes and students. As far as athletic perqs: gotta go with Oregon...just too damn pimp to compete against.

It's already official. Construction starts after next season. They will play 2012 at Qwest, then 2013 at the new Husky Stadium. LINK

Never saw the thread, thanks. Good for you. I didn't see any mention of tax dollars being used. Did they finally get the alums to pony up instead of depending on tax payers?

Ohio States baseball stadium, despite its decent size, would still only be 5th or 6th best in the SEC.
With that said I have no idea how SC's swimming, tennis, and track venues look like.

Don't quote me on this, but I think they are expecting anywhere between $50 million and $150 million in private donations. The rest of the cost is being paid for by bonds that will be paid off with luxury suites, and I'm guessing an increase in Tyee fees as well as ticket prices. I believe that they are still going to try to get the expiring Qwest/Safeco tax extended to help pay for half, but that would just be a bonus right now as they are going through with this even without that.
