I'm kind of interested to see all of these Big XII defenses play in their bowl games.
Yes, these defenses are bad. However, the pace that Big XII offenses play at makes it impossible for these teams to play defense for the full game. Even if time of possession is almost even for the game, having to defend the hurry up without substitutions all game is impossible.
Texas has talent on defense. Oklahoma has talent on defense. Baylor has talent on defense. West Virginia obviously is the best defensive team in the conference. I think when these teams get away from these hurry-up, spread offenses, they will show to be better than their statistical rankings.

He's nothing special he's never won a conference he's never backed up big wins he has lost games he shouldn't yearly
Completely agree with you. There were some UGA fans that wanted us to go after Leach. He is a very average coach that has lost multiple games to FCS competition. He's also a complete jerk so he doesn't recruit incredibly well.

Boise is so much slower than Baylor
I didn't expect this.
Joey knows why they're playing off so much, they're scared of the speed and can't cover them. It's obvious.

Just think if Baylor cared and tried all year?

I read where they were a lot healthier for this game in a lot of positions than they were at the end of the regular season. Maybe that has a little to do with it.

They seemed disinterested at times the times I saw them.

Wouldn't doubt it.
This team has talent on defense man. Just hard to sustain defense in the Big XII. Cool to see them showing out against a pretty good offensive team like Boise.

I certainly did not expect Baylor to play their most inspired football in a few months in this game (likely even higher than early in the season).

The team I want to see is oSu
Theyre better than people think and they got DB's and Mason Rudolph may give Colorado fits

There may a good OL fashioned first fight tonight

I think OSU wins that game, but we'll see.

I do too I think Alabama may get shocked by UW speed but wind up winning
oSu OU Baylor UW has the same type speed
ETA:
I don't think tOSU should be in playoff either.

Re: Heisman
Reece: "you have to have some kind of methodology"
Well Reece, the methodology could be just as easy as top five receiving votes get a trip to NY. Obviously if less than five get votes, only those go.
Didn't realize Cannon eclipsed 200

That butt grab from the ref was rather graphic.

The coaches clearly quit after they got their bowl eligibility bonus checks. Tried again because they wanted to get that bowl win bonus check as well.

Average coaches don't win at Texas tech or Washington state.
