Do we know what time the game will be? I'm going to be having brunch in NO that morning and wonder if I should stick around the city for the game.

Diat is notorious for his irrational hatred of Bush.

diat also said that Kevin Kaeshmaharn would be a multi-year pro-bowler for the Saints

After the adjustments were made (last 7 games of the season), the run defense has allowed 83 yards per game at 3.3 yards per carry which would actually be #1 in the NFL for both categories.

Let's look at those last seven games more closely.

Seattle gave up:

64 to Atlanta
132 to Minnesota (Gerhardt did the most damage in this one)
44 to NOLA
163 to SF
25 to NYG
139 to Arizona (AZ were held to only 30 yards in the first meeting)
13 to St. Louis

See a pattern here? By the way, St. Louis had 200 yards on them in the first meeting, one week before Tampa went for 205 against them, when Mike James went for 158.

Seattle can be run on, even with their "adjustments".

Brees doesn't have to have a perfect game for the saints to win. That's incredibly shortsighted and based completely on the last game.

Yes he does. No it isn't.

This season the defense won several games for the Saints. Brees and Payton lost at least three.

I remember diat's intense hatred of Bush, so if he liked him initially that's news to me.

what they are talking about is that after bush was drafted, they said he would never be successful because he wasnt big enough. all I said is that he wasnt that much smaller than peterson. bush has proven he can play in this league the last few years.

No, no, no. You said that Bush was the best RB prospect since Herschel Walker, then you argued with Slow for like 5 pages that Bush was the same physical size as Peterson, even starting a thread on the OT to try to get people to take your side.

eta: I feel kind of bad for giving you a hard time about that now though. It was a long time ago

everybody in the world said bush was the best rb prospect ever.

as far as bush vs peterson size wise, I still dont think there is a huge difference size wise. peterson weighs 10-15 pounds more and is 1-2 inches taller.
