LSU fans sure didn't have a problem with "sources" November 2010 - January 2011.

Saints fans aren't necessarily LSU fans.

Go read any thread on Saints board suggesting the Saints should draft an LSU player and see what the response is

As a new guy I've been trying to keep my mouth shut and just learn the norms of TD, but I have to speak up and say I must agree that BDD is a giant dong...shut up Richie

Ha, yeah right, brah.

Did you get the chance to read ATPB? You're guilty until proven innocent in the message board world.

As The Plains Burn.

It was a longass thread that told the alleged story of Auburn.

Oh, ok.

Honestly, I didn't buy the Cam story when it came out.
Now that there's no evidence, there's no story.

It's sad that people read headlines and stop there.

Mother fricker was over 36,000 posts long...of nothing but gossip, hopes, and prayers from the tin-foil hat crew. I can't believe that abortion of a thread had a sticky for that long of a time. And regular SECr posters couldn't even post in it without getting banned or getting a PM due to the ATPB tards RA'ing everything said.

I'll agree with you because I didn't touch that thing with a 10 foot poll. Do I think something went on there with Cam? Yep. Do I particularly care other than the odd funny comment because of it? Nope.

So, now you do exactly what you're angry at those posters for doing?

Break the cycle, dude.

Never read it but I'm fairly certain that leviathan was the largest sports thread ever on here by a mile.

WWLTV

quote:

“But I have real trouble with this report. I have been told by some sources of mine that this is virtually impossible.

quote:

“The NFL has what’s called an NFL frequency coordinator who is at every game. He is controlled by the NFL, and he controls the frequency. I just don’t see that this happened.”

Loomis denies

quote:

"This report on ESPN is absolutely false. I have a monitor in front of me in my booth that provides the league issued stats for the game. I have a small tv with the network broadcast and I have an earpiece to listen to the WWL-AM radio (flagship broadcaster) game broadcast. To think I am sitting in there listening and actually and or doing something with the offensive and defensive play calls of the opposing teams makes this story and the unnamed sources that provided the false information that much more less credible…it just didn’t happen."

quote:

"It would be like some guy off the street trying to understand a different language," Hebert said of the allegation that Loomis listened in on opposing coaches. "There's no way he'd be able to understand their play-calling and what they were talking about."

Haslett
quote:

"At no time during my tenure as head coach with the New Orleans Saints did Mickey (Loomis) and I discuss monitoring opposing team coaches communication, nor did I have any knowledge of this. To my knowledge this concept was never discussed or utilized."

PFT

“This is completely false,” Kennedy said, via comments forwarded to PFT by the Saints. “I have sat with Mickey for years, for multiple games and I can say that when Mickey gets up to go walk around during breaks or halftime, I put his earpiece in . . . it is WWL-AM radio. . . . I know this, because I have heard. Plain and simple.” there are a few more quotes that I would like to add as soon as I find them

I haven't been posting rumors in this thread. I have simply laughed and pondered what would happen to the Saints if this was true. It could greatly affect the franchise if two seperate penalties were handed down in the same off-season. It would also give them a horrible image.

Do I hope the Saints get hammered? Meh, on one hand yes, on one hand no. It doesn't really matter. It's just fun to watch some posters sweat.

I'll be the first to agree with you here, but I also think it goes on everywhere else in college football...noone is clean, and it's just a matter of being a good "cheater" and not getting told on. State tried their hardest, though.
