11, 17, and 18 were all just the best.

This has to be since the 2011 team would've lost to Eli da GOAT in the next game anyhow.

I would say getting fricked by the refs is worse than the defense giving up a TD

It's not even a debate. The Saints still had to beat the Giants in 2011(2) to get to the SB. This was right there. I do think that team probably had a better shot at beating the Patriots than this team, though.

I took 2011 alot harder than I am this one

But that prob has more to do with me being older and just not taking sports as seriously as I used to.

Not a Saints fans but last year was worse, despite it only being divisional round.

Saints let the Rams back in, missed face mask call on Saints, Saints got the ball first in OT and Brees threw a pick.

Saints had chances to put them away and didn’t. Rams hit a 57 FG to win.

Not a fluke missed tackle.

Yesterday isn’t even in the same stratosphere.

2011/2017 didn’t have the Super Bowl directly on the line. And in both of those the players on the field caused the heartbreak.

Yesterday just feels empty and stolen. There’s no anger at the Saints or even the Rams.

Yesterday just makes it all feel so meaningless since the guys who are supposed to officiate the game just decided to not do their jobs and there was nothing anyone could do about it. I can’t even imagine how the players and coaches feel

They were going to come into the Dome and beat us after having lost by 25 there earlier in the season?

Because the Saints won and it was stolen. The Rams were not the better team. The Saints led from the opening whistle and the NFL took a super bowl appearance away from them.

Hmm when did they win it? Championship teams don’t blow 13 point leads and 10 point leads at home

So why not complain about the 2 calls that cost the Rams multiple touchdowns ?

Last year has nothing on this year imo. Stakes weren’t as high and it ended on an all time great of a fluke play. Everything was on the players.

This year the game was stolen by the refs. What makes it even worse is that the Rams acknowledge that they stole the game

This was the worst. This made me hate that I grew up loving football and the NFL. 2011 we just couldn't stop Smith to Davis. Can't be the best team ever when Alex Smith becomes Tom Brady against you.
